
Prince HarryAs the 25th anniversary approaches, he is reflecting upon his mother’s death.
In memory of his mother, the Duke of Sussex made a special tribute to her. Princess Diana, and her work dedicated to public service at the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Aspen, Colo. on Aug. 25.
Prince Harry was the founder. Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006, the organization works to support children and young people in Southern Africa whose lives have been affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/AIDS. While giving a speech at the event in Aspen, Prince Harry noted he and Prince Seeiso established Sentebale in honor of their mothers and that the name means “forget-me-not” in Sesotho.
He said, “Next week will be the 25th anniversary my mother’s passing. She most certainly won’t be forgotten.” It should be remembered for her extraordinary work and the love she showed. “I want to remember my mom with my loved ones, and with my kids, whom I wish I could have known.”
