Peaky Blinders will end after season six—but it’s going out with a bang.
Starring in the crime drama Cillian MurphyAs Tommy Shelby, a gangster boss, the BBC is airing its sixth season. These episodes will be available on Netflix starting June 10.
Creators will still be there when the world ends. Steven WrightFans can be assured that everything will unfold in cinematic style. He revealed the series finale will be 81 minutes long—basically a short movie!
RadioTimes.com: “It feels very very different to other parts of the season,” he said. It feels completely different from anything that we have done in the past. The scope of the film is enormous. It feels like a film—it’s a kind of dry run for the feature film.”
Wright teased the feature film for several months.
“We’re going to make a film—a feature film—which will move the world on, and then once we’ve moved the world on into the Second World War, we’ll see where that takes us,” he said.
