Atheletes rally around Mikaela ShiffrinFollowing her disastrous races in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
In the lead up to Beijing Games, Team USA’s skier Mikaela was expected to win many of the events. Mikaela fell in the giant Slalom, leaving her with no medal. And then, on Feb. 8, she missed the fourth gate in the slalom leaving her unable to finish.
Although Mikaela appeared disappointed, she’s still feeling support and love from many athletes, including Olympians.
Legendary retired skier Lindsey Vonn took to Twitter with an encouraging message. She wrote, “Gutted @MikaelaShiffrin, but that does not take away her storied profession and what she can or will achieve going forward,” Keep your head up.
