CelebHomes News – How much fun was it designing this collection of activewear?
Simone Biles: Obviously, I wear a lot of athletic clothes, so I was like, “This is perfect.” However, we wanted to reach young girls in order to encourage them. That’s why we included love notes.
CelebHomes – What was the design process like for you?
SB: So now we are like spring. We obviously played on that. You’ll find dandelion yellow throughout this collection, which is one of my favourite colors. There are pastels too, which look great and you can mix and match. Another favorite one is the brushstrokes, which I think are great for kids. We have many elements throughout this collection.
CelebHomes – What are your favourite mantras?
SB: One of them is, “The floor is yours,” another is, “Because I Can,” and the last one is, “No dream is too small or too big.” So, hopefully it’ll inspire girls if they’re ever having a down day, they can look down and it’s that little Simone on their shoulder and just a reminder for them to keep going.
