More recently, though, the two have stopped posting to social media and making public appearances since the Astroworld Festival tragedy in Houston, Texas on Nov. 5, in which hundreds of concertgoers were injured and 10 people, including 9-year-old Ezra BlountHe died at the end. 

In a statement later posted to her Instagram Story, Kylie, who attended the event with daughter Stormi, said, “Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have lost or were hurt in any way. [sic]By yesterday’s events. Travis, who I know is deeply concerned for the Houston community and his fans.

Her statement continued: “It is important to clarify that we were not aware of any deaths until after the show ended. In no way would I have stopped filming and performing.” My deepest sympathies go out to the entire family. I’m also praying for healing and comfort.

Travis also shared a statement to Twitter saying, “I am absolutely devastated by what happened last night. My condolences go to all the Astroworld Festival survivors and their families. Houston PD is in my complete support. They continue to investigate the tragedy of loss. Together with Houston’s community, I pledge to work together to support and heal the grieving families. We are grateful to the Houston PD and Fire Department for their prompt response and support.
