Olympic gold medalist Hope Solo is facing a new round of legal trouble.
 
According to CelebHomes News, Solo was charged on March 31 with impaired driving (DWI), resisting police and child abuse. Solo is a mother to her 2-year-old twins and husband. Jerramy StevensPolice stated that she had “two children” in her vehicle at the time,” according to an April 1st statement.
 
Officials further confirmed Solo was released from Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center after being processed.

Rich Nichols, a representative from Solo’s legal counsel, told CelebHomes News in a statement, “On the advice of counsel, Hope can’t speak about this situation, but she wants everyone to know that her kids are her life, that she was released immediately and is now at home with her family, that the story is more sympathetic than the initial charges suggest, and that she looks forward to her opportunity to defend these charges.”
