CelebHomes News. Are there important differences in filming Marvel shows versus movies?

Heidi Moneymaker: I would say it’s basically like doing a six-hour Marvel film. The action seems just as large, at least from my perspective. Although the scenes are large, instead of a two hour movie, there’s six hours worth of content. However, sometimes we don’t get the same kind of prep and time to shoot it that you would if you were shooting a six-hour film. It’s not an easy task, but it can be very, very similar.

CelebHomes : Your long association with Marvel movies means that you have been in close contact with Jeremy Renner. It was a different experience to become his stunt boss. Hawkeye?

HM: You see, I have known Jeremy for a very long time. And we have always worked closely together. And I’ve spent a lot of time in rehearsals with him, training him for action scenes in the past, so we kind of had that relationship a little bit. Although I was never his stunt coordinator, it is something that has been on my mind. This was quite a rewarding opportunity.

I found him to be a wonderful, warm, kind, person. He made it so easy for me. He was a great guy and I had the opportunity to design his action style.
