Dear reader, let us know what you can imagine. Bridgerton without Lady Danbury. Practically impossible, right?

Well, it was almost reality according to Julia QuinnQuinn, author of the Netflix series. Quinn spoke exclusively with CelebHomes News to confirm that Quinn almost killed off her in a book.

Her description of Ton’s most powerful and genteel lady was “She is so important, I thought it would be this like great drama moment”, she stated. She is my favourite character, and I am so happy I didn’t.

In fact, Quinn vows that Lady Danbury—played by the brilliant Adjoa Andoh on the small screen—”will live forever” in her mind. She joked, “If I had written about a contemporary”, “she would be reincarnated and still exist.” She will not be lost.”

That book would be a great read! We’d love to read that book, but it isn’t yet available. How to marry a marquis, the novel where Quinn first introduced Danbury.
