
It’s the end for an era.
Brian Williams, who served as a news anchor for NBC News and MSNBC for almost three decades, He announced his resignation from the company on Tuesday, 9 November.
“Following much reflection, and after 28 years with the company, I have decided to leave NBC upon the completion of my current contract in December,” Brian said in a statement to staffers, per an email shared with the MSNBC team from Rashida Jones, the president of the cable news network, and obtained by CelebHomes News.
He said, “This is both the end and the start of a new chapter.” There are so many things that I would like to do and will come back someday. In the coming months I will be spending time with my family and those I cherish most.
Rashida made it clear that Brian wants to spend more time with his loved ones. He wrote in a memo, “he would love to use the next months to spend quality time with his family.”
