Many people believe her death was due to the booster shot she received three days prior. This is incorrect. She died of natural causes,” Witjas told NBC News on Monday, Jan. 3. “Her death should not be politicized—that is not the life she lived.”
In an email to the Associated Press, Witjas also debunked a fabricated quote from the actress, explaining that White did not receive the booster on the purported date. He stated, “Betty has never said that.”
White’s official cause of death has yet to be released. However, she had previously stated that it was. PeopleIn one of her last interviews, she said that she was “so fortunate to be in such great health and feel so happy at this age.”
