The streaming platform confirms that director Ursula MacfarlaneI am currently working on a feature-length documentary that will explore the death and life of this beloved reality star.
Macfarlane stated that she approached Anna Nicole’s story as an epic mystery tale. How did someone so charismatic and beautiful, who had the whole world at her feet, get so far so fast? It feels right now to examine the life of another beautiful young woman, whose life was taken from her and then destroyed by culture.”
Her words continued: “I’m thrilled to collaborate with Netflix and Propagate in making a moving and unflinching portrayal of one the most misunderstood woman of our times.”
According to Netflix, the project will feature “never-before-seen, exclusive footage from an unreleased documentary of an enchanting, unguarded young Anna Nicole on the verge of global stardom, offering a unique glimpse into her life out of the spotlight, and her dreams as a young mother.”
