Rocketman star Taron Egerton is thankfully “alive and kicking” after suffering a health scare upon his return to the stage.
On March 5, the 32-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor fainted while performing on opening night of the revival of the play Cock at the Ambassadors Theatre in London, promoting his understudy to quickly take his place.
The star of Wales wrote, “As you might have heard,” on his Instagram Story of March 6. I am absolutely fine. A little soreness in my neck and bruised ego aside, I am completely fine. This is a new spin. It would be a great compliment if any of the people who were there last night could say that they felt that I was so committed and electrifying that their bodies couldn’t take it anymore and went home. Apparently, you are supposed to do the entire show. Not just 34 of it. “So I’m back tomorrow night with avengeance.”
