Netflix’s Squid Game continues to break records.

The 2022 SAG Awards saw the Korean TV show win Outstanding Action Performance as a Stunt Ensemble. They are also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for Lee Jung Jae and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for Jung Ho-Yeon.

Squid Game Has already been a landmark in Korean TV history, as it was the first Korean-produced television program. And first foreign-language series to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award. In a statement, show creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said, “As the director of Squid GameToday is the best moment of my life. Recalling all of the hours spent in auditions, first meetings, meeting the cast and visiting theatres to view their performances, reading scripts, rehearsals, set visits, etc., makes me feel nostalgic.
