CelebHomes News obtained a statement from the Greater Manchester Police confirming that they were aware of allegations. “The Greater Manchester Police became aware of images and videos on social media earlier today (30 January), by a woman who reported incidents of violence.”
According to the statement, “An investigation was initiated and we were able to confirm that a young man has been taken into custody on suspicion of rape” and “An arrest was made.” He is still being held for questioning. “Enquiries continue.”
Manchester United issued an ESPN statement confirming the suspension. The statement said that Mason Greenwood would not be allowed to return to practice or play until further notice. The statement said that they were aware of the images and allegations being circulated via social media. We are not going to comment further until we have established the facts.
