An April 24 appearance Ellen DeGeneres ShowThe Good Morning America After revealing that Laign would soon be receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer in February, anchor held back tears and gave updates to her fans about Laign’s condition.
“I haven’t talked about it much, but with you, I will,” Roberts, who has also fought breast cancer in the past, told host Ellen DeGeneres. She’s doing great.
She continued: “I was through it twice. I barely shed a single tear.” Amber goes through so much that I feel like a puddle when I think about it. She is so brave and handling this situation extremely well.
Roberts stated that it was possible for her to provide a little guidance since being diagnosed with breast cancer. Laign, however, has helped Roberts to learn how to care for her partner.
