Los Angeles Magazine editor Joseph Kapsch tweeted about the event, citing sources on the ground, including one who compared it to 2017’s Fyre Festival. Kapsch wrote that “Influencers were left without water in the desert, waiting under the heat sun for hours to catch buses that would take them to the actual festival.” Kapsch said, “Alleged fighting, shouting, everybody is dizzy.”

He said, “Security was surrounded by influencers shouting how important they were and why it deserved to be the first chair.”

TikToker Hannah Kosh, who said she was at the 2022 Revolve Festival, agreed with the description. “You guys, it was all of that and more,” Kosh noted in a video. “People were raiding the buses, the bus drivers refused to come back, I saw three people pass out in line myself—wild.”
