The Royal Admirers will not be there Queen Elizabeth IIAt the Easter service this Sunday

Buckingham Palace confirmed members of the royal family would attend the Easter Mattins Service held at St. George’s Chapel Windsor Castle on April 17. However, a Buckingham Palace source said to NBC News that her Majesty wasn’t expected to attend.

Her exact cause of absence is unknown. The monarch also missed 95 years of his reign. On March 14, she also missed the Commonwealth Day Service.

Queen Elizabeth II was able to attend the Service of Thanksgiving, even though her late husband died. Prince PhilipShe was 99 years old when she died on April 9, at Westminster Abbey, London, March 29, at 11:59. It was her first appearance publicly in five months. While the queen had held virtual meetings and public receptions at her royal residences before this date, she had not attended a public engagement outside of these walls since October 2021.
