A new friend for four is entering the White House.
Sunday, December 20, 20: President Joe Biden revealed on social media that he is adding a German shepherd puppy to his family.
He wrote, “Meet The Newest Biden” TwitterWith video of Champion enjoying Washington D.C.
Biden posted footage of Champion enjoying Christmas decorations, playing fetch and spending time together with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden. Champion, with his waving tail and willingness to follow commands, is an excellent boy.
In June of last year, Champ, their German shepherd at age 13, was killed by the Bidens.
In a statement, the Bidens stated that Champ, their beloved German Shepherd, died peacefully at their home. The entire Biden family loved Champ and he was our faithful, beloved companion over the past 13 years.
