Michael Sheen’s Daughter Says Having Famous Parents Can Be “Difficult”

An interview with Los Angeles Magazine published April 26, Lily, 23, touched on her latest project, The uncontrollable weight of massive talent, and how playing the daughter of a Hollywood star is a role she knows well—difficult moments and all.

Stars of the movie industry Nicolas Cage as Nick Cage, a fictional version of himself who is recruited by a CIA operative for a high-stakes mission. Lily—who is herself the daughter of actors Kate Beckinsale Michael Sheen—plays his daughter Addy.

She said that she was fortunate enough not to have had this exact upbringing. However, her dad Nick Cage and a relative in the industry can make it difficult. It can also lead to broken relationships.

However, she thinks that having parents who are famous helped her perform.

Lily stated that “What was most exciting for me, particularly as an actor who found parallels to the role itself and somebody who could find contradictions between myself and Addy.”
