An eyewitness reported that the couple was seen holding hands while walking down Malibu Beach, Calif.
Maksim flew from Poland to Los Angeles on March 1. This was his final flight in the journey to leave Ukraine during the Russian invasion. Maksim hugged Peta as he arrived at LAX, and the two shared a kiss.
Maksim was sharing his daily check-ins from Ukraine before he flew out to Eastern Europe. Maksim described his escape from Ukraine via a February 28 Instagram Story. He took the train to Warsaw in Poland.
Maksim stated, “We are heading towards Warsaw (hopefully). Train to Lviv wasn’t an option. It is insane how chaotic the situation was at the station. Although it seems at first manageable, it quickly becomes overwhelming when the time comes to board the train.
