Chrissy co-wrote this episode along with the others. This Is UsChris is particularly excited about this album, which will include “Messiah Moon,” the first song he released under his stage name. Joseph, The Spouse.
Chris said that Chris was playing shows prior to the pandemic. “The song on the album is very different. But at the show, we played the piano stripped down version. Dan Fogelman was also there, and he said that the song would have been a good fit for the show.
The recorded track wasn’t nearly as acoustic, but Chris ended up producing a similar version for Dan. Chris stated that Dan texted him two weeks prior and that he was like, “We’re going put it in our show.”
