The outlet claims that guards did not search Weinstein when he arrived at jail.
Weinstein is not certain how he got the Milk Duds. CelebHomes News reached out to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, who oversees the jail, for confirmation of the alleged incident, but hasn’t heard back.
Last year, Weinstein was indicted by a grand jury in L.A. on criminal charges after he was accused of sexually assaulting five women in separate incidents across a span of nearly a decade. Indictment was not sealed on July 21, 2021. Weinstein pleaded no guilty to the following four charges: forcible and oral copulation; two counts sexual battery by restraint; and one count sexual penetration with force.
The plea came a year after a jury in New York convicted Weinstein of rape in the third degree and criminal sexual act in the first degree on Feb. 24, 2020. Weinstein was found not guilty of two counts each of predatory and first-degree sexual assault.
