While his closest friends and family “weren’t surprised” by his decision to transition, Elliot said he still felt “really grateful” for their love and support.

It seems that people are very much talking about this topic, even though they don’t experience it or know others who do. He shared his thoughts. This news would be less surprising if it was shared with a close friend or family member than it is to those outside.

Instead of dwelling on the “overwhelming” parts of the last two years, Elliot is concentrating on the positive.

He explained that “what I really want to concentrate on now, and that has been so amazing is the level of joy I feel, the extent of presence I feel,”. “I’m able to feel in a way I never imagined possible, for long periods of time.

His admission was that “a lot of my life was just trying moving forward.” “And so getting to embrace the experience as much as I get to now…I think it’s made me better in so many facets, as a person, as a friend, and [in] relationships.”
