Back in November, Universal Pictures announced that the Broadway superstar and the pop icon would be starring opposite one another in the big screen adaptation of the hit musical Wicked. Grande announced that Erivo wrote her flowers along with a note saying, “Pink goes great with green.” Thank you Miss A for the role. It was yours, and I’m looking forward to being part of this musical journey.
In return, the “7 rings” singer sent her Harriet actress white and green flowers, writing, “Dear Cynthia, honored doesn’t even begin to cover it. You are my best friend. We will see you in Oz.”
