Crew Members Injured After Prop Gun Misfires on Alec Baldwin Movie Set

Alec BaldwinParticipated in the shooting of his next movie. 

The actor’s rep told CelebHomes News there was “an accident” involving “the misfire of a prop gun with blanks” on the New Mexico set of Rust on Thursday, Oct. 21. Two crew members were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving care.

“Production has been halted temporarily,” said the spokesperson, who also represents director Joel Souza. “The safety and well-being of our cast members and crew is our top priority.”

Santa Fe Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said Variety They responded to an incident at Bonanza Creek Ranch, Oct. 21. Authorities said criminal investigators were on scene.
