According to Rolling StoneThis event, an ode to Woodstock in 1969, was attended by over 200,000 New Yorkers and culminated in violence, riots and the igniting of fire by festival-goers.
Carson said, “It became insane fast,” “Nightfall, Limp plays ‘Break Stuff’ & the prisoners were officially running the prison.”
He stated that although there was turmoil, he could “remember feeling as if I were in another country during military conflicts.”
