In a conversation with The Sunday Times published May 1, Bill, 66, reflected on his marriage and divorce from the billionaire philanthropist.
He explained to the publication that every marriage will experience a transition as soon as their children leave home. This transition was called divorcing in my case. However, I thought it was a beautiful marriage. It’s a great marriage. It’s obvious that I would not choose to marry another person.
Bill said that he will “marry Melinda all again” but he has no immediate plans.
Melinda, aged 57, and Bill separated in August 2021, after 27 years together. While both of them have kept their divorcing details mostly secret, Melinda made public earlier this year about Bill’s infidelity and his meetings with an ex-financial banker and convicted sex predator.
