The band posted a statement on their social media channels on Monday, Oct. 25, addressing allegations of unspecified “inappropriate behaviour” that they call “absolutely false and unequivocally false.” All four members of the band. According to the group the allegations were first made in a TikTok clip that “gained momentum a few weeks ago alluding at inappropriate behavior within our camp.” They stated that they did not address the allegations due to “the glaring inconsistencies in their story, and the apparent reluctance of us being mentioned by name.”
The group explained that they felt that a response to abuse would have escalated and elevated a lie and robbed victims of abuse of their very real collective voice. “We have always wanted to create and nurture a welcoming, healthy, and safe culture around our shows.”
