The idea of using performance-enhancing drugs in Baseball has been circulating for years, ever since the speculations of Barry Bonds, Jose Canseco, Sammy Sosa, and Mark McGwire. Now, we have Alex Rodriguez, or A-Rod for short. He’s currently in the process of getting out of the political storm that’s throwing bolts of lightning at him. These bolts are aimed at banning A-Rod from the 2014 season. To get starteed on dodging the bolts, Alex purchased a condo not too long ago in Miami Beach, FL for $2.1 million. And it sure does look cozy.
Rodriguez’s new pad is a component of the MEi building, which was built in 2008. Even the name, MEi, beckons you to look inside. It rests on Collins Ave, a wealthy section of Miami Beach. The condo itself has a fairly high-class look and feel, with a private balcony that offers a full view of the area and beyond. Floor plan consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with a layout measuring 1,725 sq ft. Not bad, A-Rod, for $2.1 million. Luxuries at the MEi don’t stop there. The place has electronic shades, top of the line appliances, 24-hour security, and access to a pool and gym. Oh yes, and valet parking.
