Dave stated, “I had told everyone in my life of course.” “All the comics were like, ‘Wow, you’re on SNL?’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, can you believe it?'”
However, then came the other shoe.
He explained that he had packed everything up in his apartment, and then ten days passed and I didn’t hear any. “I am trying to find an apartment here in New York. It’s okay. Then, I receive a phone call that tells me “I have some bad news.” I said, ‘What could be bad—I couldn’t find an apartment?’ I said that it could be bad, but I couldn’t find an apartment. He replied, “No, we’re not going.”
