Malibu is home to many celebrities, both young and old. In speaking of both young and old, Robert Redford has lived it up in Utah for years with his eco-friendly vibe. For those who don’t know Rob very well (assuming most of you), he’s very active in politics and a cinematic veteran. Redford’s also the one responsible for bringing forth those Sundance Film Festivals, which pays homage to his role in the classic movie hit, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. This movie still has a place in today’s cinema amongst other classics. Eventually, Robert left Utah for Malibu, where he has a 5,329 sq ft home.

Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid headquarters was built in 1948. Although it has a hint of modern to it, it still looks Sundancey. The front of the house is overly complete with foliage, but not enough to obstruct you from entering. The side of the house is a nice and spacious alleyway which could be used as a bike path. There’s a good amount of foliage on opposite sides of the alleyway, providing consistent outdoor decor. It goes well with the house and other foliage. The back side of the two-story structure can accommodate a Robert Redford BBQ………..whatever that is. There’s plenty of seating to go around, especially a nice broad view of the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

The interior has a hint of modern as well. Alright, maybe more than just a hint. Everything that’s going on inside works. You have a fireplace in almost every room, a vast balcony view of the beach and ocean, 5 bedrooms, and 4.5 bathrooms. It’s a celebrity home that packs a punch in the “bang for your buck” department. Also, Rob’s a nice guy. His original intentions was to sell the home for $16.5 million back in May 2012. Six months later, he dropped it down to $15 million, which remains to be the current asking price.
