After signing a five-year $96 million dollar contract with the Denver Broncos, Peyton Manning found himself needing a new home so he recently purchased a beautiful $4.6 million dollar mansion in Cherry Hills Village just 20 minutes outside of Denver, Colorado.

The huge 16,464 square foot estate which is set on 3.4 beautifully manicured acres includes 7 bedrooms, 7 full baths and 3 half baths. Not that Manning is really hurting for money with the new contract but rather being a thrifty shopper he was able to get a bargain on his new dwelling which originally sold in 2005 for $5.7 million, saving him a cool million.

The estate that was featured in the Huffington Post article on “The 10 Most Expensive Estates in Cherry Hills Village”, boasts a gourmet kitchen with slab granite countertops, a main floor master suite with a fireplace, bath with radiant heated floor, wet bar with a refrigerator and two walk-in closets. Even fido gets to live in luxury in Manning’s new home that comes with a dog room with an indoor-outdoor heated kennel. The grounds contain a 7 car heated garage, a patio with a built in grill for having the team over for a cookout and lush manicured gardens and mature trees.

Manning who played for the Indianapolis Colts for 14 seasons is the son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and the oldest brother of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Manning lead the Colts a string of divisional championships and Super Bowl XLI championship where he was named Most Valuable Player. Sports Illustrated and Fox Sports have named Peyton Manning the NFL player of the 2000 decade.

Manning moved into the new home with his wife Ashley and their twins, a boy and a girl, named Marshall Williams and Mosley Thompson.
