Lauren Conrad is getting personal.

In the days following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, The HillsAlum shared her experience in life-saving reproductive care with others.

Lauren shared a message to her Instagram Story on June 28 that said, “The past few days have proven difficult.” I’ve struggled to find the right words, and reposting another’s message didn’t make me feel right. In 2006, when I tried to start my family, I experienced an ectopic pregnition.

Lauren—who shares sons Liam4. CharlieWith husband,?, 2 William Tell—explained that due to “prompt medical care,” her fallopian tubes were saved, “allowing me to have two healthy pregnancies.”

However, this is not true for all. “Yesterday I read about a woman with this same condition having her ectopic pregnancy rupture—and facing death—while waiting for treatment because her doctor was on the phone with his lawyer out of fear of losing his medical license,” the 36-year-old wrote. It is so heartbreaking.
