You know what you’re in for when you read this movie title: 3000 Miles to Graceland. Whether you saw the star-studded 2001 flick or not, your parents should know at least that “The King,” Elvis Presley, comes to mind with “Graceland.” If you aren’t familiar with Graceland, then here’s a bit of a backstory for ya. Graceland is the name of the house which Elvis occupied, and reportedly died in. It’s located in Memphis, TN on Elvis Presley Blvd. Yep, that’s how kingly he was. Elvis’s “Graceland” legacy doesn’t stop there. Apparently, he had another large piece of property in Palm Springs, CA, which has been foreclosed on.
This doesn’t mean that we can’t take a peek! While this Gracelandish home doesn’t amount to that of the one in Memphis, it holds its own with a floor plan of 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and measuring 5,040 sq ft. It rests on 1.75 acres and was built in 1946. The kitchen’s furnished, the bar’s ready to go, and the fireplaces are ready to be lit. Lets not leave out the pool with the spacious backyard that would be great for a big BBQ.
