Student in high school MelSubmitted Dwayne Johnson to her prom—well, sort of. A cardboard cutout model of an actor was created by the 18-year-old and joined her at the big night. They got all dressed up—wearing coordinating pink outfits—and posed for prom pics with her friends.
“Thank you @therock for taking me to prom,” Mel wrote on Instagram May 22. It was so much fun. The best date anyone could have.
And it looks like the Young RockStar was very grateful for the invitation. “It was absolutely my honor @smilesweetsraccoon and you were the best prom date EVER!!” Dwayne, the true Dwayne, shared the pictures on Instagram May 30, and then he re-shared them. It was great to get to know your friends and family! Thanks for sharing! All the best for summer DJ.”
Dwayne’s message was amazing, but it wasn’t surprising. He has a long history of being generous with his fans.
