Delilah Hamlinshe has reached an important point in her sobriety journey.
In a video she shared to Instagram Stories on February 17th, the model aged 23 leapt for joy and said to the camera “Hi, my name is Sarah, six months sober!” A heart icon with a timestamp was added to the clip’s top left corner.
In an Instagram Live video, Delilah shared her story with her followers in early November. She revealed at the time that her body had become dependent on Xanax and was prescribed by a doctor.
She stated that she found a psychiatrist, and he had over-prescribed for me. I was prescribed one drug that one friend of mine takes, which is 10mgs. He then gave me 20mg per day. Then he prescribed me three mg of Xanax a daily, making my body dependent on the first and second.
