The 19-year-old singer discussed the impact pornography has had on her body and mindset while speaking on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show On Monday, December 13.
Porn, to me as a woman is an embarrassment. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest,” she admitted, saying she started watching porn when she was 11 years old.
According to the artist, the imagery was sexually explicit and made her feel “like one of the guys.” However, it had negative effects on her in many ways. Billie stated that she believes it “really destroyed her brain” and felt extremely devastated by being exposed to porn.
Based on what she saw, she said she thought she was attracted to that first time she had sex.
Billie wrote, “I’m angry porn is so loved and I feel so angry at myself that it wasn’t okay.”
