The Bachelor alum shared June 19 that she and fiancé Taylor MockThey are about to have their first child. The news was shared by her in a Father’s Day blog post. She also reflected upon the February loss of her dad.
The caption to a photograph she posted read, “This has undoubtedly proven to be the most challenging season of my life,” which was quickly deleted. “I have never felt so much joy, sadness, and despair at the same moment.” I’ve struggled to express gratitude for all the goodness, as though one of my most significant people is not there.
“While I would love to share all of the great news with my dad in person, I feel more at peace knowing that he is aware and has shared it with me long before it was mine.” My dad played a significant role in the birth of a child and my father was able to mourn his loss.
