A sequel of the hit sitcom will now air on Amazon Freevee almost two decades after it was cancelled by ABC. It aired for eight seasons from 1984 to 1992. The Hollywood Reporter.
Tony Danza Alyssa Milano will reprise their roles as Tony and Samantha Micelli, with retired Tony and single mother Samantha living in the same home from the original series. It’s not known if there will be any changes to the series. Judith LightAngela was played by Tony’s husband, Jeremy. Danny PintauroJonathan’s son, Jeremy, will also be present.
The fifth member of the original ensemble, Katherine HelmondAngela’s mom was played by. Angela died in 2019, at the age 89.
Amazon Freevee, an ad-supported streaming platform, was launched in 2019 as IMDb TV. In April 2022, it was relaunched as Freevee.
