April 2019, Heard moves to dismiss the case and details what she claims Depp did to her. The actress allegedly hit her, choked on her and shoved at her. She also claims Depp “would become a totally different person” whom she called “Johnny ‘the Monster.'”
Depp’s lawyer said in part that Amber Heard can only sustain the hoax by shifting to new lies.
Heard claims that Depp verbally and physically abused him.

Mai 2019Depp signs a long support declaration for the defamation suit against Heard. CelebHomes News has obtained the court papers that Depp says Heard “painted bruises.” She is also accused of inflicting “serious bodily injury”. Heard’s lawyer denies any allegations against him, saying that “The evidence is clear: Amber Heard repeatedly defeated Johnny Depp.”
July 2019,Depp’s group reveals plans to issue subpoenas James FrancoSurveillance footage from the Pineapple ExpressStar pictured in an elevator together with Heard following a fight she had with Depp. Heard’s attorney tells CelebHomes News the video of Franco and Heard is “irrelevant.”
July 2020 Depp’s lawsuit against The Sun‘s publisher, News Group Newspapers Ltd., goes to trial in London’s high court.
August 2020:Heard files a defamation suit against Depp for $100 million in response to Depp’s 2019 filing.
November 2020 Depp loses his libel case against News Group Newspapers Ltd. after Heard testifies during that trial, alleging the actor verbally and physically abused her, which he denies. According to the judge, Depp had proved his cause of action for libel. But, Heard testified that defendants showed that they meant what they published as the meaning I interpreted them to be.
March 2021 The U.K. High Court denies Depp permission to appeal the ruling, staying, “The Court in its judgment emphasized that an appeal against the decision of a trial judge on questions of disputed fact faced serious difficulties: of its judgment, and that none of the criticisms of the Judge’s reasoning or conclusion advanced on behalf of Mr. Depp had a real prospect of success.”
April 9, 2022Heard wrote on Instagram that Johnny has sued me over an opinion piece I published in The Washington Post. In it, he recounted his experience with domestic violence.
