Every year on April 25, memes pop up to celebrate the film’s beloved quote from Miss Rhode Island about the “perfect date,” which she mistakenly interprets as her favorite day on the calendar rather than her ideal romantic outing. It turns out that Marc Lawrence, the screenwriter, wrote this line. Donald, however, changed the date to celebrate his wife’s birthday.
“I said that I thought it might be April 25, but the director didn’t know what to do. “That’s my wife’s birthday,” the director said. “So, I am very happy that every year on her birthday there are so many memes.”

Donald claimed that he added extra scenes to his first films in order to surprise audiences. So critics aren’t invited. The director did not forget film bloggers.
