It is it? Real-y over?

It looks like it. Warner Bros. Daytime Talk Show The Real—hosted by Loni Love, Jeannie MaiAdrienne Bailon  Garcelle Beauvais—is coming to an end after its current season, Deadline reports. According to Deadline, this decision was made after Fox Stations, the core station group that broadcasts the show, decided not renew it for the ninth season.

Love shared her feelings on the cancellation via Twitter, April 8.

“In the final The Real cast & crew did everything we could to scale the show down,” she wrote. “We shot 7 to 8 shows in 3 days. No audience.. but Covid cost killed the show.. thanks to viewers for 8 amazing seasons!

The Real premiered in 2013 with two additional hosts: Tamera Mowry and Tamar Braxton. Over the course of its run, the show won three Daytime Emmys.
