Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall are starting the 2022 Oscars off with a bang, just as they promised. 

The ladies acknowledged the historic nature of their roles, with Regina declaring that sheAnd Wanda are “representing Black women who are standing proud.” Amy? Well, Amy is there to be “unbearable, white women who call police when they get too loud.”

The crowd laughed when the camera panted to their faces, revealing that they were getting too loud. J.K. Simmons as Amy said, “It’s been really hard on people—look at Timothée Chalamet.”

J.K. found comfort in Regina’s assurance that she would “still smash” her goals. That’s great to hear!
