Black-ish is coming to an end, and we are more than sad-ish.

This is the long-awaited last season of the critically acclaimed comedy series. Black-ish premieres Jan. 4 on ABC. We must say farewell to one of our favourite on-screen family, so CelebHomes has an exclusive CelebHomes featurette that features the entire cast, which includes Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Laurence Fishburne, Jenifer Lewis, Marcus Scribner, Marsai MartinAnd Miles Brown reveal what’s to come in season eight as they look back on the legacy of the series.

While Anthony (Dre) says the characters are “going to wrap up [season eight] in a nice little bow and hand it to the public,” the cast seems like they’re having as hard of a time saying farewell to the Johnson family as we are.

It’s hard to end a show. In the clip, Tracee (Bow), shares. I’m more happy being married to Dre than any other time. “It’s my longest relationship.”

Yara and her husband are pleased with their season’s outcome, even though it is difficult. She explained that walking in and saying “We get to close this out in a manner that feels good to our hearts, and that honours eight years worth of hard work was such an amazing opportunity.”
