During the baby shower, attendees sipped glasses of Owl’s Brew, for which Jeannie serves as Chief Brand Officer, Naud Cognac, which Jeezy has partnered with, and Avión Tequila. They dined on a global-inspired lunch catered by Chef Marcel and Jeannie of Married to Food Catering. There were many options for attendees to choose from: hummus and tuna tartare; French green beans; chicken Marsala; salmon with homemade chimichurri.

Jeannie made sure that her loved ones were at the forefront of all planning. Jeannie said, “I wanted everyone to feel valued regardless of whether or not they are parents.” “We have so much to do these days and I hadn’t seen my friends in a long time. It was an honor to see them again, which is something I really value.”

It was also an opportunity to enjoy some time together, and soak in the special moment before the birth. Jeannie stated, “I have kept Baby J secret so it feels surreal that we finally celebrate with everybody.” We have not known the gender of our baby so we kept it a secret. It was so much fun to see everyone guess the gender based on my cravings and old wives tales. 

When the party was over, guests headed home with gift bags featuring swag from Pavé the Way Jewelry, TooFaced Cosmetics and Therabod. Jeannie’s friends and family could capture the occasion in a Pop Social booth, before everyone said goodbye.
