They say that money can’t buy certain things. But, when you’re the CEO of News Corp and 21st Century Fox, there’s barely anything that you can’t buy. Born and raised in Australia, Rupert Murdoch eventually found his way to New York and California, and eventually lost his penthouse on 5th Ave in NY to his most recent ex-wife. But that’s fine though, because Murdoch’s looking to go even bigger and lay down $57.25 million on four floors worth of square footage in the One Madison building in Manhattan. Why? Because…….well…….he can!
The square footage totals up to 10,160 sq ft and consists of 8 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. His ex-wife, Wendi Deng, and kids may have taken his 5th Ave penthouse. But Murdoch’s back on the prowl and will, again, live high n’ mighty with tall olympian ceilings and bird’s eye views of all that 22nd street and beyond have to offer. Lets not also forget lavish dining and a breakfast area that’s adjacent to the kitchen, where Murdoch and his next wife can enjoy some of the aforementioned views.
