Nicola CoughlanPenelope Featherington plays Penelope Featherington in the Netflix period drama. She shared some of the strange souvenirs that cast members get from wearing regency gowns. “And so…the Bridgertan* returns,” Nicola teased in a July 29 Instagram Stories. You can get sunburn while wearing a regency gown.
The costume has a side effect that can be painful. Nicola’s character will look gorgeous in season three, however. In fact, a July 20 teaser video announcing production on season three gave fans a look at Penelope’s striking glow up. Penelope was always a beautiful beauty. But, Penelope now has a more sophisticated updo, paired with full glam cosmetics.
But her beauty routine is not the only one that has changed. Nicola revealed in May that Season 3 will be “a lot different” than previous seasons.
