Nick Cave is mourning the loss of his son Jethro Lazenby.
The musician confirmed in a statement to NBC that the 31-year-old died this week
Nick (64), shared the following through his manager: “With great sadness, I can verify that my son Jethro has died.” Brian Message. We would appreciate your privacy as a family member at this point.
No cause of death has been released.
Jethro’s passing comes seven years after Nick’s son ArthurHe shares his love for model with. Susie BickAfter falling off a Brighton cliff, at the age of 15, he died.
He was raised by his mother Beau Lazenby, in Melbourne, Australia, Jethro didn’t learn that the front man for rock band Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds was his father until he was around 8.
He said that “I’ve not had the easiest of lives” in 2012 interview to the Evening Standard. It didn’t begin off so great.
