With a last name like “Forbes,” you’d expect them to carry much real estate weight. Well, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Malcom Forbes, who was his father’s (B.C. Forbes) successor, bought a big 6 bedroom and 7.5 bathroom house in 1950 in New Jersey. Malcom was born in Brooklyn, and was born to take over what a majority of us have heard of (and most likely read), Forbes Magazine. After Malcom’s death, the ownership of the “Timberfield” carried over to one of his offspring. The estate was listed last Summer for $3.4 million.

The two story spread shouts “Father of the Bride,” with a well-painted white exterior and two chimneys for Santa to choose from every December. It has a fairly large kitchen w/ nearby fireplace for mommy to relax by for a bit, large dining room, library room w/ fireplace, a formal/casual living room w/ fireplace that’s also great for entertaining guests, tennis court, personal pool, guest cottages, and 24 acres to play with. 34 acres if you can, or were able to, fork over an additional $850,000.
