Not so lucky.

After thousands of consumers claimed to have fallen ill after eating General Mills’ Lucky Charms cereal, the brand is speaking out.

Our top priority is food safety. “We take your concerns very seriously,” says Lucky Charms Twitter shared in a messageAbout the investigation. “We have not discovered any evidence linking Lucky Charms to consumer sickness through our ongoing internal investigations.”

Consumers who are sick were also encouraged to send a message directly to the brand so that they may get further information.

More than 3,000 people on iwaspoisoned.com, have alleged that the cereal—comprised of toasted oat pieces and multicolored marshmallows—made them sick. According to real-time consumer reports, Lucky Charms complaints are on the rise since 2021. They include alleged symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain.
